My blue sponge serie is an outgrowth of my previous serie Searching for Klein Blue.
While living in Europe and the United States, I had the opportunity to observe Yves Klein's experiments with the color blue and his sponge sculptures.
Upon returning to Brazil, where the fabulous green of the tropical color dominates the scene, I started looking for that particular shade of pure state Blue in nature.
The Klein Blue can be seen, for seconds, in the sky at dawn but mainly at dusk. After months of searching, I found the most beautiful blue color at the bottom of the sea, the living, breathing Blue, in a fantastic dance that shows birth and death, construction, and destruction, demonstrating the truth of Kybalion's statement "As above, so below; as below , so above"
